Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning in Whitstable

We are based in Whitstable, so this is home turf. Our vans are minutes from most of CT5, which means we can usually fit in a same-week appointment and we are not charging anyone for an hour of travel.

Whitstable throws up a particular set of problems. Sand and fine shingle come off the beach and work straight down into the pile, where a vacuum will not reach them. Salt air keeps fabrics very slightly damp, so soiling grips harder than it does inland. And a good share of the housing stock is Victorian fisherman’s cottages with narrow, steep staircases that a lot of machines simply cannot get up.

What we clean in Whitstable

  • Weatherboard and Victorian cottages around the harbour and Island Wall
  • Narrow cottage staircases and half-landings
  • Holiday lets and second homes on changeover — including short-notice turnarounds
  • Tankerton and Seasalter family homes
  • Beach huts, and the sofas that come out of them
  • Pubs, cafes and guesthouses along the seafront

Holiday lets and changeovers

A lot of CT5 is let out for part of the year, and the carpets take a beating over a season: sand, spilt wine, wet towels, dogs. We work around changeover days and can turn a property around between bookings. If you manage several, it is worth talking about a scheduled clean between peak weeks rather than one panicked call in August.

Postcodes we cover

All of CT5 — Whitstable town, harbour and Island Wall, Tankerton, Chestfield, Swalecliffe, Seasalter and Yorkletts. Herne Bay and Canterbury are both a short run from here, so if you are on the boundary just ask.

Tell us the rooms or send a photo of the sofa along with your postcode, and we will come back with a fixed price — usually within 24 hours. See the full carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning services, or the other areas we cover.
